werzalit tabletops

Wood on the inside, strong on the outside. The strong Werzalit wood material is created from finely chipped, selected wood, in exactly defined mixing ratios, under heat and pressure. In any required shape and with a highly-compressed, homogenous material structure, exclusively using native new wood from permanent forestry.
Along with the material structure, one of the particular characteristics of Werzalit is the special surface refinement. When the rough wood blank is finished, the adhesive forces of the similar resins in the core and surface materials are activated at temperatures of 160 °C resulting in a permanent material bond. Consequently, the Werzalit wood material is extremely resistant to heat, moisture and mechanical loading.

Table bases

NEW PRODUCT

Looking for a table base for use outdoors, with an option to use an umbrella? Coastal Casual Furniture manufacture this base that is ideally suited to the task. Made of pvc tubular resin, it will not rust (even in beachside use), has a stable footprint (580mm square) and weighs over 6.5Kg (an 80cm square tabletop is a similar weight). The total table weight is less than 15Kg, heavy enough for good stability, and light enough for staff to carry. You have a choice of white, cream or grey, and even black if requested.

There is a guide halfway down the base to keep the umbrella pole vertical, and room to install a separate weight inside the legs on the ground if needed. Adjusting feet optional.

If you are looking for a weighted table-base for outdoor use, we have also developed the base seen at right, with a 45Kg weight that is held in the base. It allows clear foot-room under the table. The table base is made from tube resin, and is both strong and durable. We can make them in white, cream, grey, and even black. It is shown with a 92cm diameter white fibreglass tabletop, but could easily be coupled with werzalit tops (70 or 80cm square, or 70, 80, 90 or 105cm diameter round). Best used as permanently positioned tables - too heavy for staff to lift this one.
