Components

PVC tube has proved itself over time to be long-lasting, economical, repairable and user-friendly.

If you have a project of your own, choose from the components below. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Postage and handling will be charged, and bulk orders will attract discounts.

Nearly all PVC pipe furniture uses pipe with 42mm outside diameter, and 36.5mm inside diameter. Pipe comes in 4 metre lengths. Ask for lengths cut to your specification.

Larger sizes of pipe and fittings are available and can be supplied on request.

Rather than sending solvents and glues through the post, try your local hardware store. You won't find the fittings or pipe, it's made especially for the furniture industry, but nearly every community will have supplies of plumbers glue for PVC fittings - try and get the "clear" for a neater job. Use acetone for cleanup.

Cushion or sling mesh is also available per metre or by the roll.
