Why should you choose our product?

The material

PVC has long been used for outdoor furniture, and has proved itself in longevity and repairability. 

Aluminium has softened the market because it is able to be mass produced, and the strength of aluminium allows designs not possible in PVC resin. 

Most Aluminium setting have glass topped tables, which are attractive, but they do present some problems:

• can be picked up in high winds

• can shatter when skating around balconies or damage other items (or people) on the balcony, or even for no apparent reason.

• Aluminium needs protection in seaside locations, and it is usually a powder-coated surface. If it's not a good coating, or if the powder-coating is scratched, then the salt air can penetrate to the aluminium and start the oxidisation process.

Most high rise buildings in the Gold Coast have banned the use of glass-topped tables on their balconies, and many have seen the results of a combination of aluminium and sea air.

So we use and recommend fibreglass tabletops coupled with our fluted resin chairs.

They are:

• safer to use on balconies in high winds (no sharp edges, stable, absorbs shock)

• a cooler seat in full sun

• easily repairable when damaged through misuse

• longer lasting than competitive products

• made in Australia (when nearly everything else is imported) - we make it here in our factory

• ideal in seaside or beach conditions - can still look good for years when other types are corroding

The Manufacturing process

Much thought has gone into the problems faced by heavily used outdoor furniture, where exposure to winds, salty air, UV & sunlight, temperature variation and hard wear is prevalent. We have continually improved on design and processes to give you a product that works consistently.

The fasteners

The traditional PVC tube furniture have used fittings & glue to keep the chairs together. They have certainly stood the test of time and still suit a certain position in the market, but do have some characteristics that needed improvement. They would squeak & complain when sat in and the weak points were on or around the fittings. We have strengthened  any identified weak points, but the new solution is to upgrade to our thick-walled, scalloped tube resin furniture. We use a stronger, thicker walled tube and high quality stainless steel screws & bolts.

We can couple the chairs above with tables that have bases made of a matching colour to the chair frame. The new design at left allows chairs to be positioned close in to the table for seating comfort.

We make the same styled base for larger tables, and rectangular tables too. It's strong, heavy enough to withstand winds, and stable.

A uniform look on the balconies or poolside can greatly enhance the look  of your building.

It doesn't stop at tables and chairs. We manufacture a range of sun-lounges as well, with optional arms, or wheels.
The choices

We make this range from an extruded resin scalloped along it's length for an attractive profile. Five choices of tube colour complements the scores of sling colours available, giving an opportunity to find a combination that will complement any decor.

If you have a large building, you could even consider having an exclusive colour run.
The Customisation

The furniture is inherently solid and stable, but in areas of extremely high winds, we can add weight to the legs to lower the centre of gravity, or maybe you want it as light as possible if staff shift them often. Maybe you want the seats slightly lower to fit under your tables, or wheels on the sunlounges, or cushions welded in to the sling, or a frame in your special colour........ There are many ways to customise to special requirements. You just need to ask.

The warranty

 Resin furniture is about the toughest, and  most long-lasting material to have for resort style outdoor furniture. We give an unequalled 10 year warranty on frames & table bases against manufacturing faults.

The Low Maintenance

We repair furniture from a lot of resorts here, and experience has shown that the Pride fluted resin range has a very low, almost negligible,  maintenance cost. The only breakages have been from abuse, and they have been very rare. The initial purchase price is very competitive, and when you factor in the low maintenance costs, they will prove to be much cheaper in the long term.
