2 seater kwila bench seatWe’ve got a heap of new products coming in the lead in to Christmas. This line of flat-packed kwila outdoor products are high in quality and convenience. Easy to put under the Christmas tree because they are in space-saving cartons. There are some new products that extend our range too.
But that’s not all……………..
Have a look around the furniture website to see some other goodies we are getting in. I’ll post more as I get time, over the next couple of weeks.

Kwila Daybeds

Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007

Back on Dec 17th, I posted a comment that all was well with the container of products I sent to East Timor.

Here we are on Jan 2 and they still haven’t received the container.

It left here on Dec 11, missed a placement on the train (for some obscure reason), and was then affected by a derailment in NT that held up all sorts of freight movements. Well, thats what I’ve been told. It should have been loaded onto the ship today and will arrive Thursday. I hope so, the receiver has been very patient so far, perhaps he is more used to shipping than I am.

dscf0287-small.JPGSo the container has been and gone; it is on the way to East Timor, and we have full payment.

All is well with the world.

They should have all the daybeds and sunlounges on the houses by Christmas day.

dscf0277-small.JPGSo dscf0271-small.JPGwe’ve done all the hard work, and the stock is ready. Where is the shipping container?

I’ve been told for the last 3 days, “you’ll have it first thing in the morning”.

I’m starting to get nervous about this. Christmas is close enough as it is.

Deluxe DaybedSome Australian interests in East Timor want a heap of daybeds and sunlounges before Christmas, so we are pretty focussed on getting that all manufactured by the end of November. It’s not a full container, but still works out cheaper to send one half empty than try to send loose freight. I tear my hair out with freight sometimes. The bulk of cushions and furniture makes it difficult sometimes. I should have a business selling services rather than product.

Enough whingeing, the consignment will look great when set up, because they also want plenty of cushions & wedges & throw cushions that we are having specially made. I’ll post some photo’s when they are done.

Deliveries

Sunday, October 22nd, 2006

Kwila setting with bench seats2 settings went to Sydney, having been picked up on Friday, and delivered today (Sunday). It was lucky I had come to the shop early, because a bewildered call came from one of the purchasers asking why they were being asked to pay money to the driver. Soon sorted that out though, it seems the drivers paperwork was a bit deficient. It was the first time I had tried this company, and they blotted their copybook very early.

Still, there was 2 very happy customers in the end, thrilled with their Kwila settings and cushions.

Picnic setsidexside2.jpgA whole lot of stuff happening lately, with a lot of commercial queries keeping the ball rolling. Kwila sidexside’s are the go at the moment, and BBQ sets.
I have put some more info on the website about GRC tables, and also the range of planters & pots & water feaures in the same material. GRC Bowls
They look great.

We have also gotten a better range of umbrellas and info about them. We mainly have Shelta and Skyspan, and some good accessories for the commercial user.
