Stop wobbly tables

Cafe & Restaurant staff can waste a lot of time adjusting unsteady tables. That costs the business a lot of money over time, and if it is only attended to after a customer complains, it can cost a lot in reoeat business.

A good solution to wobbly tables are “Tableshox“, a self-adjusting table glide that will save your time, money and image.

Chair Tips

A lot of Restaurants don’t think to check their chairs very often for wear on the Chair tips. Replacement before they wear through to the chair leg saves on replacement costs of the chairs, as well as damage to the floor area, too.

Restaurants, Hotels and motels are obvious places where this is necessary, but the same can go for balcony furniture as well. Make it a regular checkpoint for the cleaners to bring attention to the needs. We can supply chairs tips for a wide range of furniture, and can cheaply replace legs on a lot of resort balcony fuurniture

Non-rusting Outdoor Furniture

I repair furniture. People bring their problems to me, and I visit resorts to help maintain their poolside & balcony furniture.

I find it annoying to see furniture less than 2 years old falling apart or corroding. Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I like to buy quality products that last. That’s why we have Resin outdoor furniture as the first choice for commercial or domestic settings in high corrosion  areas like the Gold Coast, or anywhere coastal. We are so confident in it that some of our products have warranties up to 10 years.

Quality Teak and Stainless Steel combo

teak settingIt’s a bit unusual, but we’ve got a fantastic teak suite of outdoor furniture at the moment.
It has

  • 7 pce dining suite
  • Serving trolley
  • long bench seat
  • Sunlounge
  • 2 planter boxes
  • It’s more expensive than the “run-of-the-mill” furniture seen around the place, but worth every cent. I have priced it at a level where it should move pretty soon, but at $9,900, it is still a package price that challenges most peoples pockets.

There are not too many places you can buy this quality, but we found one in Sydney, and a friend took it on themselves to get a price comparison. I was staggered to find that identical products would price out to around $25,000. Have I gone in too cheap?

Oh, the container arrived in East Timor early January, and everyone is happy. I must admit some pleasure in sending some furniture up towards Indonesia.

    Kwila Daybeds

Back on Dec 17th, I posted a comment that all was well with the container of products I sent to East Timor.

Here we are on Jan 2 and they still haven’t received the container.

It left here on Dec 11, missed a placement on the train (for some obscure reason), and was then affected by a derailment in NT that held up all sorts of freight movements. Well, thats what I’ve been told. It should have been loaded onto the ship today and will arrive Thursday. I hope so, the receiver has been very patient so far, perhaps he is more used to shipping than I am.

    Cycles

Today I probably got the best compliment on customer service I have had for a long timeAngry. It was great, and I immediately posted it on my  Testimonials page.

Then I got a run of situations where, due to freight problems or other peoples incompetence, I couldn’t deliver expected outcomes. This time of year can be really frustrating, and it really brought me back to earth. I’m not promising anything more for Christmas. It’s lucky we have a fair bit of stock on hand

    Resin sunlounges

resin sunloungesThese have been the most popular sunlounges this year, and most seem to be choosing the plastic slat variety. I would personally go for the slings in preference, but we give people what they want. The choice of colours is really good, and they are a well-made lounge. I’ve been sending them to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne (do they get enough sun?? ;-) ).

    Kwila Daybeds

dscf0287-small.JPGSo the container has been and gone; it is on the way to East Timor, and we have full payment.

All is well with the world.

They should have all the daybeds and sunlounges on the houses by Christmas day.

    Dreamworld

JesseSo we have Christy & Andrew and kids visiting. That means I have to endure death-defying rides and pretending to be braver than the kids. Yesterday it was Dreamworld. Lots of fun, and we didn’t wimp out on any rides. A great day!

    Kwila daybeds

dscf0277-small.JPGSo dscf0271-small.JPGwe’ve done all the hard work, and the stock is ready. Where is the shipping container?

I’ve been told for the last 3 days, “you’ll have it first thing in the morning”.

I’m starting to get nervous about this. Christmas is close enough as it is.

    Splashin Pumpkin

    Daybeds

Deluxe DaybedSome Australian interests in East Timor want a heap of daybeds and sunlounges before Christmas, so we are pretty focussed on getting that all manufactured by the end of November. It’s not a full container, but still works out cheaper to send one half empty than try to send loose freight. I tear my hair out with freight sometimes. The bulk of cushions and furniture makes it difficult sometimes. I should have a business selling services rather than product.

Enough whingeing, the consignment will look great when set up, because they also want plenty of cushions & wedges & throw cushions that we are having specially made. I’ll post some photo’s when they are done.

    Beach wheelchair

Wheelchair for the beachOne of the Resort managers, Brian, has a disabled daughter who really enjoys getting down to the beach, and he was given this to try out. Unfortunately, some of the young guests thought it was pretty good too, and left it on the beach after breaking the foot-rest. A bit tricky, but I repaired it today. I hope she can frolic in the water again soon.
