Established in 1992 by father and son team Paul and Wayne Duffy, Leisure Cushions Australia Pty Ltd started out as a specialist wholesale cushion and sling component manufacturer and supplier to PVC, Timber, Aluminium and Stainless Steel outdoor furniture manufacturers Australia Wide.

Offering design solutions for both cushions and slings specifically for the Outdoor Furniture and associated industries meant over time, Leisure Cushions Australia has been instrumental in developing new ranges and designs of Outdoor Furniture, Outdoor Cushions and Outdoor BeanBags for both domestic and commercial applications that have been in use for many years and continue to do so to this day.

Over the coming years with the advent of more and more imported furniture being offered into the Australian marketplace and less manufacturing of locally made products, Leisure Cushions increased its footprint by adding the very well-known Pride Casual Outdoor Furniture range of products to the fold, whilst still offering quality replacement cushions, slings and Outdoor furniture components to both domestic and commercial customers. Pride Casual Outdoor furniture was initially developed by Gold Coast businessman Grahame Washington and specialised in offering a quality range of H.D Thick walled P.V.C Outdoor designed furniture for commercial resort applications that has been proven to be one of the best answers to the problem of longevity in outdoor furniture that is exposed to the harsh environments that most resorts and seaside dwellings experience.The Tubular fluted H.D thick wall resin profile, high impact wear end caps and internal saddles used by Pride Casual are absolutely exclusive and have proven themselves over and over again throughout the years in resort and hospitality conditions, and the extensive use of Stainless Steel screws and bolts allow the furniture to be subjected to the most hostile salt and sea air environments whilst still giving solid service year in and year out. In the worst case scenario, the Pride Casual designs allow for future repairs to any part of the furniture, so even after the warranty period has expired, there is always the added comfort in knowing that your purchase will be in use for many more years to come, and as we are the actual manufacturer of the Pride range, you will be able to add more furniture in the future knowing consistency of design and quality is assured.

Under the direction of Wayne and Fiona Duffy, Pride Casual Furniture has also developed a specialised repair, recover and restoration service for all existing outdoor furniture that services all Resorts and Domestic customers on the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. This is a very important service that ensures that Outdoor products that have been purchased from both locally manufactured and imported sources can be kept in service and remain a usable asset rather than be discarded to landfill giving both economic and environmental benefit.

In November 2005 Leisure Cushions then purchased the well-known Tweed outdoor furniture manufacturer Coastal Casual Furniture after its founder Bob Caldwell decided to retire after 10 years of servicing the Southern end of the Gold Coast and Northern N.S.W areas. Coastal Casual Outdoor Furniture was initially a franchisee of Pride Casual Furniture Queensland and a customer of Leisure Cushions Australia since its conception, so the products and services supplied are consistent with that of the services already offered and have blended well together, coupled with additional knowledge of Contract furniture supply that the Coastal Casual team has built up over the years of operation whilst supplying quality products to its customers, means that Coastal Casual Outdoor Furniture is positioned to continue to offer high quality Outdoor Furniture, Outdoor Cushions (both New and Recovered), Replacements slings for all Outdoor Furniture, Outdoor Furniture Repairs and associated Outdoor Products such as Outdoor BeanBags, Outdoor Umbrellas and Components for the Resort and Accommodation industry as well as supply of Contract Café’, Hospitality, indoor and outdoor imported seating and furniture for domestic customers Australia wide.

More recently we have teamed up with one of our loyal customers of 25 years Daydream Leisure Furniture in a collaboration that enables us to offer and distribute the Italian Nardi Outdoor Furniture range of products as well as the high grade Bask Aluminium range of Outdoor Furniture.
