My name is Bob, and it’s a long time since I caught that fish off the beach at the head of the Great Australian Bight, but I enjoy the memory so much that I have to share it. 5 friends camped for a week in the middle of nowhere, no phones, no electricity, no contact with any other person for the whole week.
Another enduring memory of the week was watching a mate landing another fish like mine at night-time, with the brilliance of the moon reflected in the spectacular, vibrant fish-scales. I can see it now.
